DAY ONE: EXPLORE THE TOWN
START YOUR DAY AT PARK SILLY SUNDAY MARKET
The Park Silly Sunday Market is an outdoor street market held in the heart of downtown Park City. The market features local artists, beer garden, live performances, kids activities, unique handcrafted items, and gourmet cuisine. Mike & I were blown away by how big and how popular this market is. The market is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Sunday from June to September. Pets are welcome.
GRAB A DRINK FROM ATTICUS COFFEE & TEAHOUSE
Calling all tea lovers, Atticus Tea Shop is a MUST DO when in Park City. This charming coffee & teahouse is locally run and has everything you’d want in a tea shop, cozy atmosphere, books, snacks and of course so many teas to choose from. Our favorite is the Goblet of Fire, Toasted Almond, & Blue Moon! They also have an online shop so you can enjoy their delicious tea from anywhere!
GRAB A BITE TO EAT AT ONE OF THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS
Dine with the locals at one the many gourmet restaurants found in Park City. Choose from a Brew Pub or a Piano bar, Asian or American, fine dining or laid back, inside or outside patio, either way you're sure to find something you enjoy in Park City. We had dinner at Twisted Fern and LOVED it. The food was made from scratch with fresh ingredients and tasted delicious.
ENJOY A PLAY AT THE EGYPTIAN THEATER
The Egyptian Theater has been around since the late 1800s and is a landmark of Park City. Throughout the year you can enjoy a variety of theater performances, comedy shows, musical acts, special events, & community functions. We happened to be there when they had a Wizard of Oz show and it was absolutely fantastic! Outstanding acting performances, breathtaking singing, and they even worked in ASL. It was a truly amazing show.
